All of homeschooling at this point, as far as i know, is in english so it is very important that your kids learn it. But this is something that an adult can understand and not a kid. So for them it is useless since they can talk with you with no english, they can talk with friends and family and the employee at the corner shop, they can learn maths, study nature, discover physics and chemistry with no english.

So in order to motivate them you must make the endeavor fun? If it is not fun, why doit? And what is the objective? What they want to do/discover/learn that they NEED english? If it is not FUN and NECESSARY is useless!
